My name is James Holland and I am a Strength & Conditioning coach based out of Crewe. Overtime Fitness is my Personal Training and Online Coaching Company. I am a lover of all things sport and fitness and currently involved in a playing capacity in Rugby, Basketball and American Football teams. Prior to beginning my fitness career, I served for 6 years in the military, with two overseas tours of Afghanistan. During this time I completed many career courses, including promotional and support weapon training. I finished my time in the military as a Sniper. A major learning experience I gained from this was how to prepare myself, both mentally and physically, for the tasks that were ahead of me. I had goals set out, I created plans and I achieved them.

My educational background consists of a BSc Honours degree in Sport and Exercise Science from Teesside University, along with my qualifications in Personal Training. I am constantly upskilling my knowledge, with a main focus of improving sports performance in field sport athletes. I love working with athletes and people who have goals and are driven to succeed and achieve them. 

Alongside my own private work, I am the Lead Strength & Conditioning coach for the Cheshire Phoenix Basketball club in the British Basketball League. A role which I took ahead of the 2021/22 season. I have over 10 years experience of coaching a wide range of athletes in field sports such as Rugby, Football and GAA. I’ve also helped people who just wanted to improve their life by introducing new training, nutrition and lifestyle habits.
